GCHS Raiders competed in nationals this past weekend in Atlanta, Georgia. The competition consisted of a 5K run, a rope bridge, a gauntlet, and a PTT.

“Something special about this raiders competition is the surrounding teams that have come from all over the country to compete for first place,” mentioned senior Alex Medley.

“Freshman to seniors attended this competition,” explained Medley, “and gave their best effort using teamwork and leadership skills.”

The team placed 14th out of 30 teams

“Our team is mostly made of freshmen, therefore, we look forward to the upcoming years with this experience under their belt,” said Medley.
