On January 9th, 2024 GCHS announced our new upcoming head football coach; Tyler DeBernardi, aka “DeBo.”
GCHS Football happens to be a huge deal around Graves County; our cross-town rivalry and the victories the team brings home each season.
Football has had a huge impact on his life; he was coached by Lance Gregory this past season stepping up for the new role of becoming head coach.
DeBo grew up in what he called a “football family.” Being a head coach has brought him much joy and will lead our Eagles to more wins over the next few years.
“It is very hard for me to put into words what it means to be a head coach…but it is extremely difficult to put into words what it means to be selected as head coach at Graves County because of what the program and community mean to me,” said DeBarnardi. As GCHS has watched DeBo over the years; it has been an eye-opening moment for everyone how he puts the growth into the team and himself.
