World School Milk Day (WSMD) is celebrated annually by over 40 countries on the last Wednesday of September, with this year being the 14th annual event.

The Food and Agriculture Organization’s goal is to provide a particular day when attention is focused on school milk and to have all countries celebrating on the same day. (www.southeastdairy.org)

Graves County High School cafeteria workers participated in the celebration, handing out WSMD and milk mustache stickers, along with a pencil with ‘World School Milk Day’ printed on it.
