GCHS has welcomed two new teachers this semester, Spanish teacher Sierra Todd and English teacher McKayla Dotson.

“I love learning and I love the Spanish language,” said Ms. Todd. “Teaching allows me to combine those passions and share what I love with others.”

Ms. Todd said that she feels that she truly belongs here, and everyone has welcomed her with open arms.

“My favorite part about teaching so far is getting to be part of such a great school and community,” she added.

Junior English teacher Ms. Dotson is a GCHS alumni who recently graduated from Murray State University.

“It’s been very cool to see the behind the scenes of what teachers did when I was a student, how they prepared, and how they are involved in the school,” she said.
