Mrs. Roberts AP Government class held a mock voter registration the week of Halloween at GCHS.

Students made posters, decorated bulletin boards, and created videos for GCTV to promote the event.

“We’re trying to get more younger people to vote and participate in elections,” Abby Flemmings stated. “If they go ahead and resister now they won’t have to worry about it later on.”

This is the first year voting registration has been presented by an AP Government class.

“The process has become much easier since it is online now,”  explained AP Gov. teacher Mrs. Roberts. “We are doing our part to get the word out and have certainly sparked an interest.”
