GCHS hosted its annual football homecoming this past Friday night where senior Ellie Youngblood took the crown.

“It is an honor to be chosen as the GCHS Homecoming Queen because it means the students at my school chose me to represent them,” said Youngblood.

Seniors Eily Canter and Kaylee Wilson were the first and second runners  for the crown in the race between six outstanding candidates.

“All the girls looked so pretty,” said senior Eily Canter. “I had so much fun being on court with all of them. It was such a great group of girls.”

Other members that were nominated for homecoming court were Natalie Gardener, Ella Foley, and Sarah Irvan.
