Morse and Brayden are accepted into WKU Gatton Academy

Two Graves County students participate in the Gatton Academy program at West Kentucky University.

Gatton Academy is a program that takes high schoolers from all over Kentucky and helps them start their college career, as well as, finish their junior and senior year.

This is a great honor, as only a select few students are chosen after a rigorous interview and application process.

They will get to network, experience college life, and take courses on advanced science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

“This will prepare me for my future because it will be exposing me to college and giving me many challenging situations that I will have to learn to handle,” said Morse.  “It will also help me prepare for what is after high school.”
