Totos Africa set to play on repeat for eternity

Somewhere deep in the Namib Desert, Toto’s iconic song “Africa” is set to play on repeat until the end of time.

A multimedia artist decided to strategically place six speakers deep in Africa’s ancient desert. The speakers are solar powered, so the speakers run off of the desert’s endless sun- deeming the song to play for eternity.

The man behind the legend, Max Siedentopf, says, “I wanted to pay the song the ultimate homage and physically exhibit ‘Africa’ in Africa. The desert, which is 55 million years, is the oldest desert in the world. It seemed to be the perfect spot for this.”

Some people, however, have their doubts about the everlasting music. It has been doubted by many that the speakers will not be able to withstand the deserts harsh heat and weather conditions. Siedentopf planned ahead, however, by building the speakers with strong materials that will combat against the odds.

There is nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do to make the music stop.
