Over Halloween weekend, GCHS hosted a Halloween performance. This night was called the Masqurade Ball, which featured our jazz band, advanced treble choir, and symphony orchestra with a special performance of musical excerpts by Natalie Sims and Alana Gattis.
Throughout the night, the fine arts students performed various Halloween and fall-realted songs. The choir showed off their renditions of “Little Shop of Horrors” and the iconic, “I’ll Put a Spell on You” from “Hocus Pocus”
Our jazz band director, Mr.Burchett, was excited for this new spin on a long-running GCHS event. He was thrilled with how the evening turned out and was proud of his students who performed after-party-type music setting an up-beat vibe.
Hopefully everyone who was able to come enjoyed their night with the fine arts department.
