5 GCHS art students traveled to Murray State University to learn about the Art and Design department.
While there they participated in a variety of activities, including a photography course that introduced them to cyanotypes, a technique that involves pictures using UV light. They also got to build ceramics based on prompts.
Senior Advanced Art student, Piper Coley, “I really enjoyed being able to go on campus and learn about the Art and Design department at Murray.” said Piper Coley, who will be an Art and Design student at MSU next fall.
These students along with their teacher, Ms. Glowicki, thoroughly enjoyed their adventure to Murray State University to learn about the ins and outs of the Arts and Design Department and give them insight into what their future could look like.
