Worship night was a student-led event that was put together by our very own Future Christian Athletes. This event was held at the Independence Bank Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, November 8th.
To do this event, Jamie Kendall said that the students found speakers who were recommended to them. From here the students began to choose out songs and order them and just took the night into their own hands. People like Ethan Hayes and Madison Sullivan also helped the students through this night.
FCA Leader, Ellie Swift stated, “ The ultimate goal of this worship night was to have anyone and everyone come together… We just wanted to see people worship the Lord in a time where that seems to be the only right thing to do.”
Ellie Swift also mentioned, “The biggest challenge for teens as a whole is not knowing where your identity comes from and where to turn when you feel alone.”
This student-led club plans to continue its weekly meets, prayer groups, and monthly meetings. They are planning another worship night some time soon, in hopes of another great turn-out.
