On Sept. 9, GCHS FFA members attended the Rising Sun Conference at Kentucky FFA Leadership Training Center in Hardinsburg, KY.

“The conference is an opportunity for FFA officers to go around and tell others what they want to see a change in the community,” explained senior Sadie Smith. “It was a leadership conference for higher officers and they taught with state officers over community service.”

Mikindri Moore added, “It was a really good time to go and connect with people.”

The conference included workshops on dealing with challenges and how to be a better leader and person as a whole.
