Conlee Spann was named 2022 GCHS Homecoming Queen on September 9th.

“I’ve always thought about running for homecoming court would be a great opportunity for me to get more involved, I loved doing it with the girls that ran with me,” said Spann, who was nominated by the Pep Club.

Homecoming court included KJ Gregory (first runner-up, Global Language nom), Emily Dunaway (second runner-up, Interact nom), Vikie Peters (FCCLA rep),  and Macy Marler (HOSA rep).

Last year’s homecoming queen, Ellie Youngblood (who happens to be one of Spann’s best friends), crowned the winner for this school year.

“This made being homecoming queen a core memory for me,” said Spann.
