On April 15, 2022, Graves County seniors participated in the yearly Strictly Business interviews.

“Strictly Business is a perfect way for our seniors to be prepared for future circumstances,” Said Ms. Millikan. “It’s is also a graduation requirement for our students.”

The school brings in many different career fields for students.

“I was interviewed by a recruiter for the [general] military,” said Nathaniel Poe. “I’m already enlisted so the process went smoothly.”

There are several students who also plan to go into the media arts field.

Aidan Walker said, “I was actually interviewed by my coworker from the radio station.”

Although some students may be turned off by the nerve-wracking experience, these interviews are a great way to prepare them for the future.

“I wasn’t as nervous as I thought I was going to be,” said Nathaniel. “It was a great way for me to learn more characteristics of each branch of the military.”

Hopefully, these experiences will continue to prepare the future classes of GCHS.
