What’s Happening with Graves County sports?
Due to Covid19, Graves County sports may look a little different. Fall sports are in action, including football, soccer, and cross country.
According to Head Football Coach Nick Kemp, “Everyone has to be 6ft apart if they are from different families, and you have to wear a mask when you get up. In the stadium, and there can only be half capacity.”
In addition, there will not be a student section this year.
Eagle’s soccer will also be enforcing social distancing and limited spectators.
“They even Sanitize the soccer balls after each game,” said a current GCHS soccer player.
Currently, Cross Country will allow no spectators. The rest of the meets are still undetermined on who will be allowed, and runners will also be limited.
As the season progresses, we’ll keep you updated.
