On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, Senior, Anna Rogers achieved a career high number of strikeouts. The game happened against Ballard County. Rogers now has 500 career strikeouts.
Like many others think, Rogers was not anticipating the career high at all.
“I had no idea at all. Not even during the game. It wasn’t until after the game when my parents surprised me with the news,” States Rogers.
Rogers has played softball since she was little. She has such a passion that she will be furthering her career by playing college softball with Freed-Hardeman University in Tennessee.
“I have so much support. They (My family) got me a sign with my face on it, and Dana (coach) got me a plaque. ” also states Rogers.
