Legend has it, the old Sedalia High School is now haunted by the ghost of a sixteen year old girl that is out to get her revenge. As the story goes, when the school first opened it was known for the kind staff and friendly students of the community it included. But the welcoming environment took a turn for the worst.

According to legend, the girl was reportedly bullied by many of her peers for years on end. Eventually it got to the point she was getting physically hurt as well as mentally. Not long after as of this the school shut down. The girl never had the opportunity to gain revenge on those who caused her so much pain, so she vowed to torment all who enter or set foot on the grounds of the school.

An anonymous town local describes his few encounters with the spirit as his job of a groundskeeper put him in the midst of the property: “I recently  started hearing things from inside of the abandoned building. I thought it might have been some of the local teens. I started to ask around and heard the rumor of the events that took place so long ago and it truly gave me chills.”
