GCHS VB soccer season comes to an end

On October 2, 2018, Tuesday night at 7:30  Graves County High School Varsity Soccer play Paducah Tilghman High School at home. It’s a special night, Senior Night, they have won 13 out of 21, but sadly lost last night’s game.

Graves County Senior Ricardo Morales said on Wednesday, ¨I’m feeling all types of emotions for tonight. Its gonna be a sad night because it’s the very last time that we play in this field. The last game we play at home with all of my teammates.¨

Senior Luis Macias, goalie for GCHS said, ¨ We have been practicing every day after school and we looked back at the things that we could do better on as a team or individual. We are very confident about tonight though, we are not worried about losing I think if I put all my focus tonight I can stop all the soccer balls that come towards me.¨

After the game, Junior Carbajal, a junior at GCHS said, ¨ I have played with all these seniors since middle school and they have shown me so many things that have gotten me to a great player. I will miss playing soccer with them, while they all go off to college I will still be in high school. They have been my family for many years I wish them all the best after high school.¨
