Graves County has been making wreaths with classmates having many opportunities for students to raise money.
The students in the floral design class will make custom unique wreaths for Christmas. They are making fresh 16in wreaths for $60 and there are artificial 16in wreaths for $40.
Pickup for the wreaths was on December 8th at the GCHS greenhouse from 8:30-4:00.
Sophomore student; Mariana David states, “I am a part of the floral design class and all of the students work hard and it’s going to be all hands on deck, meaning all students will be working hard and efficiently at all times.”
This project is a great opportunity for the floral design class to learn and grow their creative skills.
“This project is going very well! We have made 11 small fresh wreaths, 15 medium artificial, and 17 large fresh wreaths this year. The students have done a great job and I am so proud of their creativity and hard work!” The floral design teacher, Mrs. Perdue.
The floral design class is going great and it seems to be having a big impact on the people around Graves County. The wreaths are beautiful and done by the hardworking students.
