The annual “Prom Fashion Show” theme was inspired by this year’s musical “Cinderella”. This will feature students modeling dresses for sale, a musical performance, and a Quincenera showcase.
Mrs. Mckee; the teacher of Fashion Marketing, said that the Prom Fashion Show originated from Mrs. Rickman, the former Fashion Marketing teacher. Mrs. Mckee states, “We originally sold new dresses that were from Anne’s Bridals in Paducah, but over the years a lot more girls started selling their prom dresses.”
Sophomore; Riddley Davis said, “The Prom Fashion show was spectacular, it showcased amazing dresses and was very entertaining. The Quinceanera Showcase was especially nice because it showed off Hispanic heritage.”
Overall, the Prom Fashion show was a success. It allows students to see dresses that are available for sale if they are interested in going to prom.
This helps students who don’t know what kind of dress to get because they are able to see them in person rather than if they were to buy online. The dresses are also relatively affordable compared to other stores.
