On Sept. 30, Mayfield and Graves County students took a field trip to visit many agriculture related locations. These places include H&R Agripower, Murray State Ag facility, and a family owned dairy farm.

Conlee Spann, Youth Leadership President, says that her favorite part was having the opportunity to see parts of Murray State’s campus that she had never seen before.

Students explored what Murray States’ Agriculture Department can offer for various majors. Along with the college visit, students went to a family owned dairy farm.

AG student and Youth Leadership member, Hadley Looper, says that milking the cows and learning how the family operates a small milk business was very interesting to her.

Youth leadership’s next field trip will be on Oct. 28.
