iOS 7: You have one new message!

Bekah Courtney

iOS7 ARRIVES– The long-anticipated iOS7 is now available, giving users the most drastic change in formatting since the introduction of the first iPhone.

The new update for Apple products, iOS 7, has a fresh, remodeled format for messages and calls. New features include a block list, new buttons, time stamps, and an overall totally different design.

One of the biggest and most exciting changes is the block list. Sayonara, annoying person who texts you every two seconds. You can find this option under Messages in the settings.

Another nifty tool is the time stamps. Just swipe left to see the exact time you sent a message. Messaging is not the only dramatic change, though.  Calling, although not as much as messaging, has been altered quite a bit. It has an all new keypad design, simple but modern. Also, when you receive a call, it has an unfamiliar setup. The buttons are in new places, and there is a “Remind Me” option, or you can reply to the call with a message.

All in all, iOS 7 a fantastic, contemporary change to messaging and calling.
