G.C.H.S. cross country prepares for regionals
This Saturday, The Graves County High School Cross Country Team will once again be competing in the KHSAA Regional. Like many times before, they are preparing to make great strides to make it to state for the 4th time in a row
With the help from National team members Junior, Garrett Wilson and Freshman Carley Dowdy, and even other runners such as Junior, Avery McClain and Junior, Faith Elder, both Eagle teams have an overwhelming chance on going to state.
To figure how good those chances were, I sat down with McClain and this is what he had to say, “If everyone can drop their running times by at least 20 percent, we are a lock for state!” Feeling good about her chances, Elder left me with this response, “Eat pasta, run fasta!”
Can’t wait to see the results, and remember, GO EAGLES!
