Independence Bank will be hosting “Sounds of Independence”, a free concert performed for free by Alabama for the Mayfield and surrounding areas.

The concert, with open invitation to all interested in attending, will be located at Graves County High School.

Gates open at 5 p.m. this Saturday. Olivia Faye, 20, a singer/songwriter from Murray, Kentucky will open for the band Alabama who revolutionized the way Country music was performed and styled with the use of lights, pyrotechnics, and guitar style more prominent in rock music, but with little appearance in country music before Alabama.

The new Independence Bank opening in Mayfield is located in Revolution square, construction of the new branch was scheduled to end in June.
