Fall is on its way and along with it comes fun activities to do with both friends and family. This short article will inform you of just a few events to enjoy this October.

The Waltons’ Fall Fest at Cartwright Grove will take place at the Mayfield-Graves County Fairgrounds on dates October 27, 2023, and October 28, 2023. The events start at 12:00 pm Friday and through 4:00 pm Saturday. This includes a meet-and-greet event featuring the cast from The Waltons, as well as a murder mystery dinner starting at 6:30 pm. Tickets for this part of the event will be sold for $165 per ticket with only 100 tickets available. Guests also have the option of a VIP breakfast with the cast Saturday morning at 8:30 am costing $100 per ticket with only 100 tickets. The meet-and-greet itself will last throughout both Friday and Saturday with tickets costing $10 at a limited number.

They gladly welcome the return of Food Truck Friday starting Friday, October 27, 4:00 – 10:00 pm. This event will be held at 402 Charles Dr, Mayfield, Ky. Food Truck Friday gathers different food trucks from all over giving you many options of tasty food available for purchase.

The Drama Overdose will be taking place at Cheif Cornerstone baptist church, in this event you will watch as characters go through life making tough decisions designed to make you question the choices you’ve made in life and their consequences beyond the grave. The drama will be taking place on the following dates; Sunday, October 8, 1:45 – 8:30 pm, Wednesday, October 11, 6:15 – 9:00 pm,  Sunday, October 15, 1:45 – 8:30 pm, Wednesday, October 18, 6:15 – 9:00 pm, Friday, October 20, 6:15 – 8:30 pm.
