Road work ahead?? Uhhh yeah…. I sure hope it does.

Well, jokes on all of us because apparently it doesn’t! It seems like every time I’m driving, there’s a new road block due to road construction. Is that really necessary? There have been a few times I’ve almost been late to school due to road work this year alone! Yes, there are roads that really do need work done on them, but those never seem to be the ones getting the attention. To me it seems that the same few roads are always being worked on at least once a month, roads that don’t even need it. There are so many problems with our roads that are going unaddressed, such as: faulty road lights, pot holes, worn down road signs, and so much more.

A local businesses employee anonymously stated,  “Our business is really being affected by this road construction. People don’t have a way to get to us, so we’re essentially losing more money than we’re making”

This isn’t just a problem affecting school kids trying to get to their first class on time; this is a problem affecting local  businesses that really need the support.
