Blade Runner 2049 review

Shown 35 years after the original, Blade Runner 2049, starring big stars like Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford, arouses some major food for thought and provides stunning visuals. In the film, bounty hunters work to “retire” all factory-made rogue replicants.
With the utilization of factory-made “human” replicants and programmed love affairs, the film considers multiple themes that have the audience questioning what it truly means to be human.
The most powerful and noticeable theme is the meaning of love. Each character viewed love in a different way, and this was reflected through their actions. Honestly, this was the most emotional aspect of the movie, especially when it came to K and Joi’s relationship.
Many of the visuals and small key points were direct echoes of the original. Every scene was dazzling in its own way.
However, the movie can be a little gruesome and raw, but this is employed in a way that greatly emphasizes the theme.
Though not as action-packed as your typical sci-fi film, this is definitely worth a trip to the theater.
