Crider, Wiggins named Bluegrass All-Stars
On December 15th Cody Crider and Heath Wiggins made history by being the first players from Graves County to be selected to participate in The Best of the Bluegrass football game in Louisville. Crider and Wiggins were asked to play on the Best of the Bluegrass All-Star team who faced off against the Louisville Area All-Star team.
With Wiggins at defensive tackle and Crider at running back, both players started and were said to have played well.
The game was held in Louisville at St. Xavier High School. The Louisville All-Star team defeated the Best of the Bluegrass team 31-28.
When asked about how he felt being chosen to play on the All-Star team Wiggins said, “It’s an honor because no one else gets to do it.”
