Published in 2011, Legend by Marie Lu began the trilogy series with this fast paced story with plenty of action and just a tad of romance to appease both male and female readers. This story began a little slow, but as it progressed the story sped up, bringing plot twists along with it. Prodigy and Champion follow Legend in this renegade series. This Young-Adult novel is appropriate for readers older than 13 because of intense action.
