DECA moves on to state
Graves County’s DECA chapter is going to Louisville for the state competition in March. Those who made it past regionals are ecstatic for this opportunity.
Lydia Hunt, junior, said, “DECA has been a wonderful experience for me because it shows how my future in business may be and it teaches me key skills I will need.” Hunt also said how she is excited to go to state and meet new people in the DECA community.
Carrie Cavitt, junior, won first place in market communications. She said, “DECA helps me learn important information and skills that will benefit me in my future career. I am super excited to go to state because it is my first year in DECA, so I feel super proud of myself.” Cavitt also hopes to do just as well at state.
Congratulations to those that placed in regionals and good luck to those in the Graves County DECA chapter that are moving on to state.
