GCHS Band Ranks Distinguished at Concert Band Festival
The Graves County High School Concert Band performed at the Band Contest Festival at Paducah Tilghman High School on Tuesday, March 20th, 2018.
The group received a score of “straight ones;” the highest score possible, earning them a ranking of perfect distinguished.
The Bands Twitter account, @Gchseagleband, posted a picture of their score results yesterday evening, shortly after the performance.
Mr. Burchett, director of the band said, “I’m pleased with how we did at Festival, but I think we still have more to work on. There’s always more room for improvement. For now, we’re moving our focus onto the Spring Concert.”
The Band’s next performance is at their Spring Concert, which will take place on May 3rd, in the PAC, at 7 PM.
