Juniors prepare for March ACT

Elijah Smith

This coming Friday, February 13th, all juniors will be participating in this year’s ACT Prep Day.

Several teachers met and organized the day to help prepare all juniors for the March 3rd ACT so each student will meet their required benchmarks.

Students have been broken up into small groups of about 12 to 17, and will travel with that group throughout the day. They will attend reading, English, science, and three separate math sessions: trigonometry, geometry, and algebra. Each session focuses on strategies and test-taking skills used for each subject. Attendance will be taken at each session.

Students who have already met their benchmarks will report to the PAC.

For freshmen, sophomores, and seniors, Friday will be a normal day, unless a teacher is hosting a prep session. In that case, the teacher should have informed the class of their alternate reporting location.

All juniors will need to bring a writing utensil and a calculator.
