Battle of the highschool classes
Despite the senior’s constant complaining of smells and irritating horseplay coming from the freshman hallway, the year is almost half way over and once again the freshmen have survived. Every year the upperclassman, and even the sophomores who were freshman less than a year ago, pick on the newest Eagles in the school.
Your attitude going into freshman year has a lot to do with how you come out of the year and into the next. When asking two freshmen how it feels to be an underclassman, Zach commented, “I feel small. But it makes it better that I do have some upperclassmen friends.”
“I feel like it gave me an opportunity to make upperclassman friends,” said freshman Gracie Youngblood.
When asking a senior to look back on how it felt being a freshmen, senior Chris Woods commented, “It was definitely different. I came from Northside Baptist Christian School with 8 people in my class.”
So even if you’re a current freshman and feeling down about how your fellow Eagles treat you, don’t worry! Your first year of high school is on the fast track to being done, and you seniors are on the fast track to graduation.
