Last Saturday, Graves County Cross Country Team went to Stewart Nelson Park in McCracken County. Tray Madding, a junior at GCHS, came out with an amazing performance and placed second overall.

Madding was very satisfied with the outcome after the race. “I am very proud of our team and the results that we got. I can’t wait to further with the team and our coach,” he said.

“Girls won the whole meet and the boys got second by 2 points. The boys and girls are both running well and are right where they need to be,” said Assistant Coach Marcos Macias.

“I think our main goal overall is to maintain what we did last year and get second in the region,” said Freshman Kelsey Wilson.

The Eagles take on another meet at Muhlenberg County on Saturday.
