By September 7th, the storm had been downgraded to a tropical storm.

Precipitation exceeded 36 inches in the Wilmington, North Carolina area. Many residents were left with no electricity.

FOX business predicts that the storm could cost from $17 to $22 billion; While 2016ś category 5 storm, Hurricane Matthew, cost significantly less, at approximately $13 billion.

There are rumors that this storm is capable of starting up again in Wilmington. As of now, the rumors are only that it is the strong winds that could cause it to rise up again due to its shear levels.
