While starting at a new school for the first time seems tolerable, the kids are what really has Auggie nervous. How would they react to his face? The book answers that very question and many more. August goes through school and deals with dramatic teachers, overloading homework, and some arrogant kids who don’t know half the struggle hes been through.

This book is a very easy read and includes multiple perspectives to show how every character feels and thinks about the situation at hand. The story is perfect for a wide range of readers but still carries a clear message that everyone could take to heart.
