Grab a new book in December
In spirit of December being National Read a New Book Month here are some books that are being released in December.
‘Moriarty’ by Anthony Horowitz is to be expected to be released on December 9, 2014. Moriarty is a continuation of House of Silk. Moriarty is the story of what happened after an encounter between Holmes and Moriarty at Reichenbach Falls. Moariarty fits into the genre of mystery.
Being a soccer fan this next book is one I’m looking forward to. ‘The Keeper’ by Tim Howard is going to be released on December 9, 2014 also. The Keeper is about U.S. Men’s National Team goalie, Tim Howard. Howard became a well known goalie after a record number of saves in the 2014 World Cup. Howard tells about his life going up with just his mother, his diagnosis with Tourette syndrome and then he talks about his rise to fame in the soccer world. He talks about how important his beliefs and family are to him. This is a must read this winter.
‘The Boston Girl’ by Anita Diamant is to be released December 9, 2014. The Boston Girl is about an eighty-five year old Addie telling her young granddaughter. The story begins with Addie talking about life being a Jewish immigrant in 1915 and then goes to talk about her life in the early twentieth century and how women experienced a great change.
‘The Rosie Effect’ by Graeme Simsion is to be released December 30, 2014. The Rosie Effect is a romantic comedy, it is also a sequel to The Rosie Project. In The Rosie Effect, Don and Rosie are living in New York and are expecting their first child. In the book Don takes on a project to learn to be a good parent.
