The Lady Eagles celebrated Senior night and a win against Paducah Tilghman on September 27th at Graves County High School.

The Lady Eagles took a win from the Tornadoes in 3 sets, with a final score of 25-7, 25-12, 25-5.

We asked an underclassman how the Seniors impacted their year so far.

“They taught me a lot about volleyball and life in general. They also helped me become a better person and show true love for the sport”, said Ryleigh Belknap.

Senior, Marley Shoulta shared some wise words about the night.

“I think we played very solid and performed really well. It is bittersweet to get something after giving to this program for the past 4 years. This sport means everything to me and I am very sad I will have to let it go in a few weeks.”

Districts for the Lady Eagles start next week at Ballard Memorial High School.
