Hurricane Florence Damage

On September 14th, Hurricane Florence made its way through the small states of North and South Carolina.
The storm was being classified as a category 2. However, once it finally reached Atlanta, it upgraded up to a category 4. This was causing more damage then what was already made.
The storm brought powerful wind, relentless rain, and life-threatening storm surge to an area that wasn’t used to hurricanes. Many people till now are still homeless having no place where to go to or many people missing and some even found dead. According to CBS News, there has been reported a total of 47 dead.
Even after almost 2 weeks of the Hurricane happening there is still many parts of North and South Carolina that are still flooded. There has been an estimate of $38 billion to $50 billion in economic damages according to FOXBusiness.
