Kentucky representative Dan Johnson was found dead at 8:20 P.M., on December 20th. He was found in a secluded area of Mt. Washington, and died of a bullet wound to the head. His death was ruled a suicide by the local coroner. After posting what seemed to be a goodbye letter on his Facebook, police were alerted, who pinged Johnson’s phone and found his body. Bullitt County Sheriff Donnie Tinnell says Johnson drove to the bridge over the Salt River on Greenwell Ford Road in Mt. Washington, parked on the north side of it and shot himself in front of his car. Tinnell says his body was found right next to the river, past the bridge. He leaves behind a wife, four children, and nine grandchildren.
