Eagles head to state championship

Eagles make history this 2014-2015 school year with an overall record of 11-3.  The Eagles played their first KHSAA State Semifinal game against the John Hardin Bulldogs. The game had many twists and turns, but the Eagles came out on top with a final score of 28-23.

This will be the first time in school history that the football team will be advancing to a state tournament. They will be playing against Pulaski County (12-2) for the state title on Friday, December 5th at Bowling Green at 6.

In order to allow fans time to  travel to the game, all Graves County Schools will be dismissing early on Friday. Elementary schools, with the exception of Central, will dismiss at noon. Central Elementary will dismiss at 12:15, and the middle and high schools will dismiss at 12:30.

GCHS is also providing a pep bus for students who want to attend. The cost to ride is $12, plus ticket cost. Students, remember to bring money for food at the game and rest stops. Please come out to support your fellow Eagles and make sure to wish them luck on their first ever state championship!
