EASTON, WA — A Washington man says he saw a blue SUV driving in a strange way on Interstate 90 near Easton, then watched it crash and roll onto its side. He later shared dashcam footage of the moments leading up to the rollover, along with the rescue that followed.
The driver of the SUV told him he had fallen asleep behind the wheel. Despite how violent the crash looked, the driver appeared not to have suffered major injuries, according to the man who posted the video.

The man, Roman, who also goes by romantheegreat online, said he noticed the SUV about 45 minutes before the rollover. In the dashcam video, the blue vehicle appears to speed up sharply and then hit the brakes repeatedly, behavior he described as very weird.
Roman said he was traveling east on I-90 from Seattle when he saw the erratic driving. The footage he posted was not arranged in strict chronological order, but it captured the sequence of events before and after the crash.

Roman stopped and opened the passenger door after the SUV landed on its side
