Percy Jackson, written by Rick Riordan, has a new TV series that is at its halfway point in the season. This new series stars Walker Scobell, as Percy Jackson, Leah Jeffries, as Annabeth Chase, and Aryan Simhadri, as Grover Underwood. The TV show is not book accurate, however it has caught the attention of many viewers, young and old alike.
Percy has always felt out of place, but when he gets attacked by a monster and finds out Grover, his best friend, has hooves for feet everything starts to make sense. Percy is a halfboold, half human half god, and goes to a camp that protects him and teaches him how to control his abilities. On the way to this camp however Percy, Grover, and his mom are attacked by a monster, Percy’s mom is collected by the monster for Hades. At this camp Percy meets Luke, Clarisse, and Annabeth, he soon finds out after his dad is Posieden, the god of the sea and water, and this puts a target on Percy’s back, since Posieden is one of the big three gods. News travels of this and now Zues, the god of thunder and sky, accuses’ Percy of taking his lightning bolt, now Percy and the two he chose to go on the quest with him, Grover and Annabeth, have to go find the bolt and save the world from a war between the gods and save his mother from Hades.
In the fourth episode it leaves us on a cliffhanger wondering what will happen next to Percy and his friends. New episodes for season one come on every Tuesday at nine p.m. Eastern time.
