On Friday, March 4th, GCHS celebrated National FFA Week with Tractor Day.

Students, alumni members, agriculture dealerships, and community gathered to display over $2M of tractors.

“Those tractors also represent just a small portion of what’s necessary to provide each of us with the food in our bellies and clothing on our backs,” said Ag teacher Mr. Howard. “We THANK them for that!”

“Tractor Day is great way to advocate for our Ag program and show how much Agriculture impact’s our area,” said AG teacher Ms. Lyell.

“My favorite part of Tractor Day is seeing the smiles on so many student’s faces, and the interactions between students and the Agricultural community,” she added.

Senior Luke Nesler stated, “I enjoy seeing everyone bring their tractors to celebrate Agriculture with the community and alumni.”

“I enjoyed the parade and having a good time with my friends,” said freshman Ashton Donaldson.
