January 31st, Graves County took on Mayfield Cardinals. While Mayfield defeated Graves 63-61 in overtime, the Eagles took this as a learning opportunity and a time to reflect as they move forward.

Freshman forward Braden Waller stated that they “should move the ball around more to guarantee better-shot selections” while also becoming “stronger physically and mentally as a team.”

Sophomore guard Lukas Pigg agreed, stating “the team should build more chemistry together off the court” with sophomore forward Collin Gibson adding “we as a team should drive together on and off the court.”
