GCHS senior Emilee West was nominated by Mr. Nick Miller, Media Arts Teacher, for her involvement, reliability, and positive attitude.

Emilee is a member of GCTV and the GCHS chapter of Technology Student Association.

“I quickly learned of her media talents and leadership capabilities,” said Mr. Miller. “She has taken a more prominent role in our productions this year. She works tireless behind the scenes to ensure our shows are edited properly.”

Emilee said she became involved in media arts her freshman year, but Mr. Miller’s influenced her to stay in the program and become a much more active member.

“Being so involved makes me feel like I’m actually apart of something meaningful and what I do in high school is worth something,” said Emilee.

“Her best quality is her reliability,” Mr. Miller continued.  “I can be confident any task I put her to will be done swiftly and correctly. Her attitude is also a big motivator for her peers. She keeps them on track.”

“I am very proud of the person she’s grown to be over the last year, and excited to see where her future takes her.”
