The Lady Eagles soccer team defeated The Lady Mustangs on Tuesday night 5-0.

“I am very proud of the way the girls played last night, especially in the second half,” said Coach Gerardo Herrera. “The girls worked very hard on all areas of the field and put on a show for everyone that came to watch.”

Both Ellie Carter and Hadley Looper scored two goals each, while Cambelle Drury sealed the deal with the fifth and final goal.

“We came back strong in the second half,” said Senior Captain Ellie Carter. “We made the changes we needed and came out with a lot more energy.”

The Lady Eagles play again this Thursday night against the Lady Marshals at Marshall County High School at 5:30 p.m.
