The Lady Eagles fell to the Lady Marshals Friday night 51-29 in the semifinal game of the Region 1 Tournament, ending their season with a 19-4 record.

Lone senior Avery Myatt main taken away from this season is to “always work hard and do your best because you never know who is watching and when it’s going to end.”

Myatt specifically thanked Coach Brandon Fisher: “He pushed me last year, and I knew that I hadn’t hit my potential yet, so I wanted to do the best I could.”

Myatt received the Rex Alexander award for her accomplishments, a great honor for any recipient.

Myatt said her main motivation throughout her basketball career was her family. “I want to make my parents proud,” said Myatt.
