Student Spotlight: Brooklyn Williams
Sophomore Brooklyn Williams was nominated by DECA Advisor Mrs. Michelle McKee. Williams was elected for 2021-22 Kentucky DECA Vice-President of Communication.
DECA is a marketing club that students have the opportunity to attend conferences and competitions to encourage the development of business and leadership.
“Rarely does Graves County High School have a student to serve on the DECA State Executive Council,” said Mrs. McKee. “With her leadership skills, exceptional character, and ability to connect with others, Brooklyn will do a great job representing our school and community at the state level during the 2021-22 school year.”
Williams’s role as State VP of Communications is to connect Kentucky members through social media and in-person events. She will also promote DECA state events and represent Kentucky DECA with other state officials at the national conference.
