Graves County and Digital Learning Day
Digital Learning Day began ten years ago when technology was first adapted into classrooms.
It was first celebrated as a form to appreciate how technology has helped the students and teachers in class.
Mrs. Dana Dowdy, GCHS’s Digital Learning Coach, said that ¨today it is more of a way for educators to share great ideas and practices on social media, mainly via Twitter using their hashtag #DLDay.¨
Many teachers have begun to incorporate technology into their classrooms, even more, each day. Also continuing to further celebrate and post many photos of their incorporation into the #DLDay along with the #GCForward.
More information can be found on www.digitallearningday.org and their Twitter, @OfficialDLDay.
